Privacy Policy

Who we are

Steel ("we", "us") is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@onesteel.co.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Name, work email, company name and company size when you request a call or submit a form.
• Engagement data. During an assessment, interview notes and operational information provided by your employees, handled under the NDA and DPA signed before the engagement begins.
• Usage data. Aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics about page visits. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, schedule and deliver calls, perform the services you engaged us for, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our own site and materials. We rely on legitimate interest for business communications and on contract performance for delivery work.

Interview confidentiality

Interview responses are anonymised in all deliverables unless your organisation explicitly agrees otherwise in writing. Individual answers are never presented to management in an attributable form by default.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with service providers needed to run the engagement — hosting, email, scheduling, and document storage — each bound by a data processing agreement. We never sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months. Engagement data is kept for the duration of the contract plus the retention period agreed in the DPA, after which it is deleted or returned.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to privacy@onesteel.co and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted on a need-to-know basis, and access is revoked at the end of an engagement.

International transfers

Where data is processed outside your region, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Services are governed by the signed statement of work, which sets out scope, fees, timelines, confidentiality, and liability. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer or forms a contract.

Intellectual property

Deliverables produced for you are yours on payment. Our underlying methods, frameworks, and tooling remain ours. Our brand and site content remain our property.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Liability under an engagement is capped as stated in the statement of work.
